Country Pumpkins

Yesterday we had some fall fun at the Country Pumpkins festival. It's a free event that happens every weekend from mid-September until the end of October at a local farm. They had tons of things for Oliver to play with and in, including a petting zoo, corn hole, a corn box, bowling, basketball hoops, slide, hay maze and kiddie corn maze. It's always fun to watch Oliver play corn hole, because no matter how many times Brent shows him what to do, he still ends up going to the box and putting the bean bag directly in the hole. I think Oliver's favorite was looking at all of the "punkins" because there were tons of them laying around from the moment we walked onto the farm. We also went for our first "Pick-Your-Own-Pumpkin" Hayride. It's the first time any of the three of us have ever cut our pumpkin off of the vine. We had a great time looking through the large pumpkins to choose the one we wanted, though walking through the vines was hard for Oliver at times. Right  before we left Oliver got to pick out his own mini-pumpkin to take home too. It was a great way to spend our Saturday morning!
