All Clear

Yesterday Oliver went to the doctor for his "pre-op" appointment to make sure he's healthy enough to have surgery. Though he was put on an antibiotic for a double ear infection, he's "all clear." We go to Cincinnati Children's Hospital next Wednesday for surgery to get rid of a cyst. The outpatient procedure will begin around 9 am. He will have to have anesthesia but should wake up and be home by mid-afternoon, as good as new. 


Please pray with us for out little man! Brent and I have many fears including negative affects of the anesthesia and permanent damage to his manhood. However we must realize that, "God does not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline." (2 Tim. 1:7) He will take care of Oliver with his power in ways we cannot begin to imagine. Our job is to remain confident in this truth.
