He loves to play! We have block time where he takes the blocks out of one bucket, usually bangs them together for a bit, and puts them back in the bucket. During this time he also maneuvers his way around our home office in search of a chair or container he can pull himself up on. He's pulling on my leg as I'm typing this and grunting softly with determination. We also have reading time where either he flips through one of his cardboard books or I read his Children's Bible or another book to him. He plays beautiful tunes for all to hear on his piano in the living room floor, eventually moving to either the couch or coffee table to pull up to standing. Brent works with him a lot on standing and cruising around the coffee table. Each day we also have stroller time. This is either a walk up the street or a trip to the grocery store. We have lots of fun together.
Yesterday morning we went to the zoo, just Oliver and I. He loved watching the elephants throw straw on their backs, petting the bunny, staring at the swimming penguins, and laughing at the swinging monkeys. We had a great trip and can't wait to go again soon!
