This week has been one for the record books. Friday morning started with another fever, which led to a Sunday morning discovery of Hand, Foot, and Mouth. I took off of work on Monday, Brent took off Tuesday, and we thought we were back to normal on Wednesday. Until the fever on Thursday morning that caused Oliver to miss two more days of daycare. He's on flu medicine (without the flu) and we don't know exactly what caused the spiked fever.
Other than sickness, Oliver is doing lots of fun tricks! The newest is putting his clothes on while standing up. He thinks it is awesome to lift his legs up, even if he almost falls while doing it. He just tries again. He loved dancing (see the picture of him in the rocking chair) for quite a while on Monday and found an old computer mouse that he led around the house by its "tail". Tonight he got a haircut and the lady gave him a balloon. This kept him occupied for hours! Oliver's favorite phrase of the week is, "I got it!" It is the cutest thing to hear him say!
We spent much of this week cuddling and playing. Hopefully next week his health will be much better. We continue to hope and pray this long string of sickness is almost over!
