21 Weeks

In 19 weeks or so we will be welcoming another sweet boy into our family. This pregnancy continues to go well. I'm still periodically nauseous, but water usually takes care of the problem. And if not snacks do the trick. Weight wise, I am up to 18 pounds, which is much more on track than I was with Oliver. I'm not having any cravings, but can smell everything. The most pungent has been Wilson riding in the last weekend, but the aroma of Subway at my training yesterday also filled my sniffer quickly. The only other thing is my back has started aching because Graham must be sitting on my sciatic nerve. I have been sitting a lot this week, so that makes it worse, though stretching and walking seems to help.

Baby Graham is the size of a spaghetti squash and just crossed over the one pound mark. He has the hiccups constantly and kicks me all the time. The funniest was during a training yesterday I told two of my colleagues to look because I could see him kick from the outside. As sure as they looked, he stopped. At first I thought he was moving constantly, but now I have decided he's just laying in a position that I can feel him a lot.

We have also started thinking about the nursery. Yesterday I picked up the valance and one crib sheet. This afternoon the other sheet, crib skirt, and quilt. It is super cute! Next will come paint colors and picking out furniture. I'm very excited to get little man's room ready...but even more to meet him in less than 5 months!
