Yesterday was our 20 week ultrasound. For some reason Satan had grabbed me last week and convinced me that something was wrong with our sweet one. On top of that I'd also convinced myself, because this pregnancy is so very different, that we were having a girl. But, as usual, my gut was wrong.
Most importantly, God is good! Everything is "perfectly healthy" according to both the ultrasound tech and Dr. Willet. Plus it is all measuring right on time. I was actually 19 weeks, 5 days at the ultrasound. Everything measured between 19 weeks, 1 day and 20 weeks.
It was amazing to see all of our sweet little boy's baby parts. My favorite was watching the measurements of his brain, heart, and lungs. Our little guy has 5 fingers on each hand and 5 toes on each foot. We saw the four chambers of his heart clearly. His brain showed no signs of any disability. His kidneys and bladder were both full, meaning that he is eating the way he's supposed to be. He is right on track for his October 20 due date, weighing 11 ounces. We are so excited and can't wait to welcome
