Christmas

This year for Christmas it was just the 4 of us. Brent had to work his normal shift, so the afternoon was just me and the boys. We had a good day and it was nice that Brent was off in the morning so we could experience Christmas morning together. Oliver was super excited about Santa visiting and loved his Dinosaur Train toys and stocking stuffers, which mostly included underwear. Graham slept through the initial Santa gift viewing and was not aware that he got presents at all. Oliver really wanted his toy train. After we opened all of our gifts I spent time in the kitchen cooking while Brent and Oliver played downstairs. We ate just in time for Brent to head to work. My turkey was amazing! And of course we had our "once-a-year" apple pie.

Yesterday we spent the morning returning a few items and having Chick-fil-a with my friend Julie. In the afternoon the Shorts came to play and for dinner. Oliver and Everett had a blast, like always. Of course it was so crazy with 4 kids under 3.5 that I forgot to take pictures of the boys playing. After a quick dinner of pizza they headed back to their home in Indiana.

This morning I snuggled with both of my boys for a few minutes. Those moments are my favorite!
